Fama is the ancient Roman goddess of rumour. This exhibition is a visual exploration of the process in which perceptions and rumours are formed. Danish artist Justensen once became intrigued by the legend of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Without any historical proof of her existence, how could the belief in her sainthood span centuries?
