OCTO is one of Denmark’s youngest design groups, formed in 1998 by eight active designers from all over the country. The photographs of the objects are of extremely high quality, and the layout of the book is a design triumph in itself, with matte color photos lit scenographically. The images are accompanied by unusually insightful remarks on the use of design in the 90s, and also by intriguing prose-verse on the human experience of hand-crafts and human designs.
