The Finnish artist brothers Magnus von Wright (1805-1868), Wilhelm von Wright (1810-1887) and Ferdinand von Wright (1822-1906) illustrated and painted nature both on a broad scale as well as birds and other creatures in such naturalistic detail, as if one could touch and feel the feathers. The latter painted by Wilhelm von Wright commissioned by count Nils Bonde in 1828.
