This book project was established in order to present Bjørn Ransve’s diverse and rich collection of drawings in the best possible manner. This is the first time the full breadth of Ransve’s drawings have been published. The book spans a period of more than forty years with over fourteen hundred works selected from a total of several thousand drawings. Presented here are cover drawings from all of his periods, familiar and unfamiliar motifs and techniques. Drawings included are done in pencil, pen, chalk, charcoal, crayon, ink and watercolour.
