Lone Skov Madsen was trained as a ceramist at Danmarks Designskole in Copenhagen. Her works are represented in the main ceramic museums of Denmark. She is best known for her platters, circular shapes about half a meter in diameter, and the organic shapes of her jars. With the simple, neutral forms, the platters presents themselves as a canvas on which she models her volcanic structures with running, drifting glazes. This small catalogue gives a beautiful presentation of her ceramic pieces complete with detailed full page colorphotographs and accompanying text.
