The tower of the old Saint Nicholas Church is the subject matter of this exhibiton project. Six contemporary artists from Germany and Denmark have been asked to relate to the history and function of the tower, either by focusing on the Nikolaj Tower itself or on the more general concept of the tower as a historical, religious, political or psychological archetypal symbol. The invited artists are: Tjorg Beer, Jakob Boeskov, Baldur Burwitz, Peter Callesen, Oliver Kochta and Frank Lüsing.
