What makes this church design unique is the use of free form and the artistic lighting. The aim was to design a white building for a well-lit pine forest, that would glimmer between the pine trunks as the visitor approached. This book carefully describes the mastering of conception and construction that went into the building of the Church of the Three Crosses.
