This small exhibition presents three of the museum 's major works , all of which is titled " Spring " . They are painted in the first half of the 1890s by artists Fritz Syberg ( 1862-1939 ) , LA Call (1854-1933) and Harald Slott- Møller ( 1864-1937 ) . The images are each in their own way reflect the new Symbolist tendencies . The common theme , spring was in the past, where artists throughout Europe were engaged in trying to describe the nature and seasonal time as mental moods or stages of human life. This was true not only visual artists , but also writers , and here at home we find in contemporary poetry some of the most beautiful descriptions of the Danish spring.
