The jubilees of the two centuries in question, ranging from 1550 to 1750 and comprising styles extending from the Late Renaissance to the Late Baroque, are not examined in terms of their theological or religious value, but as occasions for renewing and enhancing the image of Rome. This exhibition is devoted to Norwegian women artists of the late 19th and 20th centuries and their successors in contemporary times.
