Doifel Videla was born in Chile in 1955 and as a biology student he moved to Belgium in 1975. After a period of intense questioning he graduated in 1980 in Plastics in Brussels with credits in photography. During several years he worked organizing exhibitions in order to promote Latin American photography in Europe. Challenged by the digital revolution he embraced new ways of expression that would influence him as an image maker.This catalogue of “portraits” includes an extended caption for each photo, which poetically gives insight to the setting.
